Our Restaurant

herb_cutterWith its Misty, rustic-chic style, The Camden Arms Restaurant has a refreshing simplicity but a serious intent. It’s about eating classically-executed, gastro-style dishes in comfortable and relaxed surroundings. Half-close your eyes and you could be e thousand miles from where you think you are.chef_chopping

Seasonally driven menus - home grown or locally-sourced, wherever possible - offer flavoursome, classics with a contemporary twist. Puddings veer happily towards comfort. Good value for money lunches and dinners  (Main courses £8.00 - £15.00, Starters £4.00 - £8.00), daily specials, vegetarian dishes plus a Sunday Carvey served from noon untill 9pm, offer a choice of three meats and six vegetables (£10.00).

There’s the bar area, the main dining room and the light and leafy Garden Room set aside for dining. The style is unpretentious - the service informal and friendly, the atmosphere is warm, intimate and just the right side of lively. If the weathers nice dine in the garden under the shade of an umbrella, or on the terrace surrounded by our beautifull summer garden.

Breakfast is served from 7am until 10am. Lunch and dinner day every day from noon untill 9pm.

Our cooking is honest and straightforward in style, bold and hearty in flavour. No fussy preparation or pretentious artistry, just thoughtful and skilful use of good, seasonal ingredients. Classic is what describes our dishes, sometimes given a contemporary makeover, and just a little theatre. Often, the simplest dishes are the hardest to get right; to let individual flavours stand up, show off and, ultimately, please the taste-buds.
